This weekend,
maybe you’ll dress up and party with friends.
You might decide to don a fancy little number you’ve never worn before.
It may be a gathering of young and old
with some characters.
Folks may present a different side than you’ve seen,
and at the end of the night,
you may just pause a few moments to take it all in by yourself,
with thanks for fun, a fancy new top and friends.

Seems as though all our hearts would be just a little bit lighter if we played dress-up a bit more often. What our children know, that we’ve forgotten! For a new perspective and a bit of inspiration, we can look here. Sweet post Ashley! (You’re a mama who pays attention!)
and your Auntie pays attention too. I agree with your Mama! Love you bunches!
We learn so much by paying attention to them, don’t we? :)
I was thinking that same thing Mama – why don’t I play dress up more often? How I love entering into that imaginary world.
I have been to that same party!!! I know those guys well! :)
Hehe!! :)
These are my favorite parties of all! But major party foul, I can’t remember that bear’s name, but I know we used to be good friends. It’s always so embarrassing when that happens. :)
That is indeed a major faux pas. Yes, the old friend is Oswald, or Lady Oswald for this affair.
(You’re awesome.)
This was just too lovely!
Thanks so much, Lula!
At one of your parties which animal would I like to come as…hmmm
Good question. Something about Mountain Sheep, the “character,” resonates. :)
