You may have awakened this morning to the buzzing of an alarm clock, the sounds of the radio, a dull internal nudge.
You may have felt dread for today’s might be’s, regret over yesterday’s failings. You may have worried that you couldn’t live up to their expectations or your own. You may have lay there, thinking, I can’t believe I have to do this again and How on earth am I going to do that?
You may worry your portion is not enough, your little light far too dim.
Today, may you have eyes to see
undone not as failure,
emptiness not as lack,
dependence not as inability,
broken not as wrong,
weakness not as worthlessness
in yourself and in Love that is ours. And hers. And his.

beautiful words. . .beautiful you.
-Cornelia
Thank you for the ways you’ve encouraged me to embrace the voice I’ve been given. I appreciate you, Cornelia — great celebrator of writers that you are.
those words soaked into my heart this morning, what a perfect morning for me to hear that, as i turn another year and the temptation to evaluate all that i am not is knocking hard at the door of my heart….so once again, thank you for reminding truth, and for sharpening the focus of reality to God’s lens, that He see’s us as He created us, His beautiful precious children, not as the World reflects back to us.
may you receive your own true words today friend!
love
Beyond grateful that you were born those years ago, dear friend. You are continually bringing light, love and hope into this life of mine. And the ways you get how I need my own words…that is gift, too. I love you.
Right back atcha, Ashley! So often what we find easier to pray for for other’s, we find diffucult to ask for for ourselves. May you find fullfillment today.
So true, Uncle Don. So true. Thank you for blessing me.
May you receive, in full measure, what you have given. May you know, in depth of heart and soul, what you have taught. May Love hold you in ample arms and whisper in your ear how precious, how precious you are.
Bless you, and thank you, Ma. I receive.
Dear Ashley
What a great message! I needed to hear today deep within that disabled doesn’t mean unwanted and our Pappa used your post to tell me just that what I so needed. Thank you.
Blessings XX
Mia
I am grateful God spoke “loved” and “wanted” to your heart, dear friend. May you continue to rest in that today.
Dearest Tiggie, all our imperfections, doubts and regrets are fragile segments of the corners of our lives. We constantly repair just as the ant forever vigil, mends the breaches of its existence. So do not worry, use your articulate thoughts and spirit to keep mending and improving. I love you very much! You PaPa
Imperfections, doubts and regrets make up the fabric of us, don’t they, Papa? What we’d get rid of in a second if we could is so often what helps give us depth of understanding, compassion, determination and love. Without those frailties, we would miss out on so much of who we are and the Strength that is ours in weakness. I love you.
I love this so much and know it comes straight from the very heart of God through you right here to me! Love you Dear and I’m so proud of your huge efforts and accomplishment this month! Wow! Well Done! And thank you for blessing each and every one of us that has followed along. I’m so glad I took the time to read them all!
Thank you for reading them ALL, Kelly. Now that is a feat. :-) Grateful you received God’s love here today. You are a blessing.
